Sandy is currently a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision at Northern Illinois University. She actively presents at professional conferences, serves on the Illinois Association for LGBT Issues in Counseling, and has published work around improving quality services provided to LGBTQI+ clients. Marquita is currently a doctoral candidate in Human and Social Services with a concentration in Military families and culture, at Walden University.
